The Observatori Contra l’Homofòbia (Observatory Against Homophobia) is made up of activists, professionals and volunteers specialised in different fields who make the OCH an instrument at the service of the LGBTI community and the citizenship. We want to be close to you. Will you join us?

Eugeni – President
I am the president of the organisation. I’ve been an activist since ’85 and I’m in charge of institutional representation and activities related to political impact. I studied law and I do my part at the Complaints Office. Besides, I am one of the main people dealing with the media.

Cristian – Technical Coordinator
I am a social psychologist and I am in charge of coordinating the different areas of the organisation. To be more specific, I am involved in the development of project content, psychosocial support for people who have suffered discrimination due to LGBTI-phobia and I provide training on affective, sexual and gender diversity to different social and institutional agents.

Albert – Complaints Office & Management
I am a lawyer. I register and update incidents of people who have suffered LGBTI-phobic discrimination. I also monitor the status and evolution of the registered cases and provide legal assistance and advice to the victims. In addition, I carry out administrative tasks for the organisation.
Volunteering Coordinator
I’m a lawyer specialised in Labor Relations and Human Resources. I have an advanced Diploma in Occupational Risk Prevention and I’m currently working as a civil servant in the Higher Council of Justice. LGBTI activist since 1996, I am now responsible for the coordination of OCH volunteers and the selection and training of new recruits.

Ton – Complaints Office
I am a lawyer specialised in human rights and I currently coordinate the Complaints Office, a legal service the OCH offers to all the victims of LGBTI-phobic incidents. We register all the incidents that we’re aware of from our different channels. We also provide the victims with legal advice during the complaint process and judicial proceedings.

Guillermo – Complaints Office
I am a lawyer and I coordinate the legal services of the OCH. I provide legal assistance to victims of LGBTI-phobia, promote criminal and administrative proceedings for the defense of victims’ rights and analyse data relating to the complaints received. I also provide training on hate crimes and other legal tools against LGBTI-phobia to different social and institutional agents.
Bárbara – Complaints Office
I am a jurist specialised in criminal law, women and gender. My tasks at the OCH consist of providing legal advice to people who have suffered LGBTI-phobic aggressions. I also perform management tasks at the Complaints Office and dedicate my time to the theoretical study of the legislation and its application to the cases.
Marc – Complaints Office
I am studying Law and Political and Administrative Sciences. I am part of the Complaints Office and I am in charge of attending, registering and updating LGBTI-phobic incidents. In addition, I also collaborate in the drafting of reports.

David – Complaints Office
I am a lawyer specialised in adversarial system. I work as a consultant at the Complaints Office regarding procedural and legal strategy and I also collaborate with the team that assists and provides people who have suffered LGBTI-phobic discrimination with legal advice.

Mònica – Psychosocial Area
I am a clinical psychologist. I coordinate the Women’s Support and LGBTI Information Points in different leisure spaces. My work consists of providing women and/or LGBTI people who have been victims of gender-based violence and/or LGBTI-phobia with psychosocial care and emotional support.
Patrícia – Training & Research & Management
I have a PhD in Social Psychology and I am currently in charge of the Status of LGBTI-phobia in Catalonia Annual Report. We quantitatively and qualitatively analyse the incidents that took place during the year. I am also in charge of people management and the administrative tasks of the organisation.

Emerson – Research
I have a PhD in Social Psychology and I currently co-managing the Status of LGBTI-phobia in Catalonia Annual Report. We quantitatively and qualitatively analyse the incidents that took place during the year. I am also the tutor of the students of the Official Master’s Degree in Psychosocial Intervention of the Departmental Section of Social Psychology of the University of Barcelona who carry out their internships at the OCH.
Daniel – Communications Consultant
I am a political scientist and I am in charge of coordinating the area of communication and press. I manage social networks, the digital ecosystem and the website. This includes preparing digital campaigns, organising and monitoring communication and anything related to the media.
Núria – Communications Consultant
I’m a journalist and I’m part of the Communication Department of the OCH. To be more precise, I’m in charge of planning and editing audiovisual projects, activities and/or events of the organisation.
Jordi – Graphic design
I am a graphic designer and I am in charge of the design and layout of the Report on the State of LGBTI-phobia, the annual reports and the posters for the LGBTI vindications.

Miquel – Partnerships
I am studying Law and Political and Administrative Sciences. I am part of the Complaints Office and I am in charge of attending and registering incidents. In addition, apart from registering and analysing data, I also collaborate in the drafting of reports.

José – Partnerships
I am a psychologist specialised in social intervention. I am part of the psychosocial team of the OCH, and we support people who have suffered discrimination due to LGBTI-phobia in any area of their lives. We also provide training on LGBTI diversity from an intersectional perspective.

Simón – Partnerships
I am a community worker and an educational psychologist. I have been an LGBTI activist for over 20 years. I elaborate and implement the volunteer training programme. I also coordinate the volunteer staff in the different events and activities carried out by the OCH. In addition, I collaborate preparing and giving the training courses related to affective, sexual and gender diversity and/or in the LGBTI Centres managed by the organisation.
Carla – Partnerships
I am an artist, also known as Xols. I spin different music genres (such as industrial music, deep house or pop electronic music) during the various festive events organised by the OCH.
